BUSTED MY HOOD

hey folks i got this problem i have a clk320 from 2000
i was trying to open the hood i heard it open UP but saw the lever stuck behind the grille so i forced it down i think, with a screwdriver and now i can no longer close the hood

(((((((
what do you think has happened?
please advise

Well, that's not a lot of information, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here.

I'm pretty sure what has happened is that you broke it.

i checked the locks
the right one doesn;t close up when i push it down could it be it?
replace the right lock?

i didn't break ****, man
there are two locks and the latch assembly
this is forum is pathetic. a little wd40 on the lock made it work again. **** YES!!!
