Paint color question

I am going to be doing body work on my car and need paint.
I have seen allot for sale on ebay but need to be sure am getting the right stuff.. I need Brilliant silver 744 and need to know if Dupli-Color Paint Shop Finishing System Brilliant Silver Paint - BSP202 is this the same .. my thought is brilliant silver is all the same. As long as it brilliant silver int he name the number 744 make no difference am I right ?

I don't think Duplicolor matches paints for Mercedes colors. This would probably be close, but I'd bet you'd see a difference. I'd go with some of the touch-up paint vendors out there that specifically state the Mercedes color code. Granted I don't have a silver car, hopefully someone will chime in who has done this.

You need to go to a autobody supply place for the right stuff. If you use spray can stuff it will not last long, and if gasoline touches it, then it comes off. Unlike real paint for cars.
