Custom Cupholder Replacement?
So, my cupholder popped out and I didn't even like the thing, seemed drinks fell out of it pretty easy. Has anyone seen, thought of, done, etc. something to their cupholder. I was thinking about maybe making a single cup holder that would fit inside the hole so that it would be at least a little functional. Let's see some pics.

my idea all along has been to yank out that OE cupholder and make a stationary single-cup cupholder... I just haven't had the time to push forward with that idea... the OE stuff just plain out SUCKS!!!

Cupholder.....
Yeah, something has to be done about the cupholders. My thought is to put a stationary (ie-not ridiculously overengineered) holder for one cup. If someone does injection molding (ie-they poster who says he could manufacture it) they could use the existing slot/mount in the armrest and use a square box with cuphole in the middle. Should work fine.... I would buy one.
