but yeah, you right... it would be a waste to install it on the C320 since the car's got stock wheels, so you can't see *****z behind it anyways...

I just hope Ben doesn't get pissed at me for using it on the CLK since I told him I'd use it on the C320... and I know how he feels about people using them for the wrong application....

HAHA! sure u can borrow her anytime u need! :p

Well unless the C320 has the C7 wheels u will need to get at least 17" wheels to fit the C32 brakes so its a good reason to forget about the idea!

I may have missed why because i dont hang around the W208 forum as much as i should, but why are the C32 brakes an incorrect application on the CLKs? i am guessing the W208s.

oh... its an incorrect appilcation because the C32 brakes are designed for a trailing caliper application, whereas the CLK has leading calipers...

therefore, by mounting the calipers in the front on the CLK, the pistons would essentially be firing in the opposite sequence... thats the quick summary of the problem... you can find more exact details if you care to search the forum...

brakes saves lives, so, incorrect installs can negatively effect the ability to stop in an emergency, therfore, evosport wants nothing to do with the sale of such items... bad for their business when clients die in cars they modify/sold parts to...

haha... come to think of it, i think you right...

the C320 came with stock 16s... and i was planning to give her my stock 17" AMGs from the CLK, then install the brakes... but, i just sold my OE wheels cause she said it was taking up space and she didn't care for them... so.... I don't think I have a choice BUT to use it on MY CLK....

Damn... you just made my day!!!

When mounted on a leading application all that has to be done as dissasemble the calipers and swap the center 2 pieces (part with bleeder and mounting ears) Left to Right. Now the bleeders are facing the right direction and the leading piston is still the small one. On W202's you will have clearance problems unless you use stock AMG 17" monobloks. I added 2mm spacers and modded the calipers to clear my wheels.

if thats all it takes, then I see no problems whatsoever...

now I just gotta find a brake technician that knows what he's doing to disassemble the calipers and install them correctly....

any suggestions for the SoCal area???

haha... i've been wanting to put those brakes on my car so bad lately, I've been finding myself purposely stomping on my brakes just to chew through the pads so I can install the new ones.... hehehehe

I can't wait...

LOL, red cars are ok, but not as good as red calipers! Blondes are like red calipers to me they turn me on also!:p

Yellow is rice to me on anything but a porsche and maybe some ferraris that come stock with them. I think blue can be cool if u do it the exact same color as your car, if u can do that that it would look nice, yet very unique.

Re: Re: Gimme yo brake kit!!!! Danny!

The blue looks awesome...

but your ///Amg logo is going to be gone, that would make it look kinda cheap/generic like those cheap brake kits I see on rice cars...dunno, maybe decals over the new g2 paint?

Brembo! instead of ///AMG decals woot

Ok, now that its getting serious, let me a make a correction, he is not a GOOD friend, its my sisters boyfriends friend, that i talk to a little bit, he charged me 30 bucks for like 5. A rip off? well not if they last the life if the calipers! So far they are great. I dont know if u guys would wanna pay that or find another place.

But here is what they look like.

closer pic.

Looks like it came like that from the factory in person.
