windshield washer nozzle connection

Hey guys,
I had to remove the washer nozzles from the hood the other day, and it looks like the connection from the hose connector just pushes on the nozzle. However, mine are so loose that the pass side leaks like crazy and the drivers side falls off. Am I missing some sort of retaining clip or o-ring?

Details to disconnect the hose from the squinter nozzle are explained beginning at the 1:30 minute mark.

At the end of the hose is a compression fitting, that is fastened to the end of the hose with a hose clamp.

Are your saying that the compression fitting fits so loose that it leaks and falls off?

yep, the compression fitting keeps popping off. I think I am going to need a new set of nozzles.

so what I found was the connection on the nozzle was cracked in multiple places and would not allow the hose connector to seal and hold in place. So I grabbed the superglue and a couple twist tie's. Peeled all the paper off the twist ties and wrapped the washer nozzle where it connects to the hose. I then applied superglue to the cracks and used pliers to twist the twist tie around the connector until the cracks were 'mended' Another quick over-application of superglue over the twist tie and Allowed to dry about an hour. Reinstalled and bingo, the connection no longer comes apart.
Much better than the $120 for a pair of nozzles which is redonk IMO.

I'm posting this for anyone needing to replace this washer nozzle on a W208. I tried the fix above but was unsuccessful and had to purchase the one for the passenger side. The current part number for the drinker (right) side is 208-860-11-47 and should be about $45 from the dealer. The driver (right) side is 208-860-12-47 and about $50. You'll need to add shipping if you get it online. Replacement time is about 15 minutes, with the most time figuring out how to fish the cable through the hood.

Good Luck!
