Headlights, Dash Rings, Intake
Hey Everyone. Please help a newbie as I will post pictures soon.
I was trying to change the xenon bulb on the Large Headlights, I twisted off the cap and pulled out the red plug. But I could not see anything to pull or twist off. There is a brownish/orange plastic that is fastened by about 4 screws. How can I pull out the bulb?
What model/type is the bulb in the small headlight (Low Beam), the one on the bottom, the ugly small orange bulb. I thought it was H7, but guess not. I replaced the bulb on top of it with H7-7000k (High Beam) looks sweet.
I'm also looking for an Air Intake that would naturally fit, I bought one on eBay that stated it was for a w208, but it was too long and the end of the pipe wouldn't fit over the sensor air filter pipe, was too small. Which one do you have? or should I just get a K&N air filter and keep the original Cleaner Assy Air Box. I'd prefer the one with the best HP gain.
Lastly I would like to change the side reflector lights (orange one on the bumper) with grey and if possible and legel the rear lights to grey. Know where I can buy them?

The city light is a H6W city light. You can do a search and find many different options to put in there. It can range from LED to Polarg M17's, if I am correct.
As for your Intake, I have no idea as mine is stock

As for the intake, no one makes a 208 intake aside from RennTech which is essentially a carbon fiber intake that they claim adds a few horses (5 or so) for the great price of several thousand dollars (not worth it at all). Any intake solution would most certainly be a custom fabrication.
As for the lights in your impact strip, you can either paint them to match the color of your car, or you can take them out and have a body shop shave out the holes in the impact strip so that it looks like there were never any lights there to begin with. That's what I did, and it looks much cleaner than the amber lights or painted lights. As for the back, I'm not really sure what you're asking when you say grey. Are you talking about smoked (tinted lights)? Or clear/altezza/rice style lights? (I hope you're not asking about the latter). If you want smoked rear lights, you can purchase a can of VHT NiteShades spray tint and do it yourself, or you can have them done at www.smokedlamps.com if you're not mechanically inclined. Smoke lamps is somewhat pricey, but everyone I've heard that's used them has been very happy with the results.
