windows stopped working

windows stopped working
not sure why but my windows just randomly stop working and I have to disconnect the battery to get them working again.
they still drop when I open the door but wont respond when I press the window switches.
any ideas please?

hi yes perform the reset you posted a while back.
I disconnect the battery, reconnect, reset windows, all good until I turn off the car and then nothing they wont work again including the headrests and mirrors however the electric seats work fine.
