Interesting Conversions - Manual? Diesel? w208
okay so I made a post earlier about how I want to convert my 99' w208 320 to a diesel, I am going to use my 2.5L TD engine from my 96' w202. This I think wont be too challenging except for small loom adjustments and messing round with computers.
However the other challenge id like to take on while i rebuild the diesel engine and give it a new home is to convert it to manual. I have plenty of resources for gear boxes from certain other mercedes'. would converting it be really that hard apart from the clutch pedal and computers. would i have to have custom parts made to fit the engine to the gear box? etc.
