Help! Spring Pads

I just put on 19" Carlsson rims today and I'm experiencing rubbing in the front when making a turn. The tire setup Front 235, Rear 265. My car is lowered but I can't remember which spring pad I have, but my guess is #1 in the front and #2 in the back cause the front sits lower than the back.

My question is what is the thinest spring pad that I can use without rubbing? I'm thinking front#2 rear#1 or F#3 R#2?

Did you change our your pads before? If not, they may be stock... but depending on whether you have a 320 or 430...we wont be able to tell you the spring pad size. You can tell by putting your car on the lift and counting the bumps on the pad itself. And to answer your question about the THINNEST pad you can use w/o rubbing, its kind of up in the air. All cars are diff and depending on offsets and tire make, you may rub. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have changed the pads before and am using dunlop sp9000 tires. Right now there is less than a finger gap between the front tire and the fender, and 1/2~2 finger gap at the rear. It looks like the front is lower than the back, so I want to raise the front a bit and lower the back a bit to make it balance. I'm thinking of using spring pad#2 in the front and #1 in the rear, but don't know if it is high enough to clear the rubbing in the front?

moving from #1 pads to #2 pads... is no more than 4mm or so. Pull out a ruler and check I have 3/4 pads on right now and I already rub at extreme turns. I was thinking of doing 2/1 also. There is more clearance in the back than you think :P

changing the pads could help... even if you change just by 1 level... it all depends on how much your tires are rubbing right now... if you see a lot of rubbing, 1 level might not help... but if the rubbing is very very minimal, switching to a pad 1 spot higher should do the trick...

if not... just hammer the fenderwell a little... then no more problem...
