Dumb Question...Will The front brakes work on the rear?

Dumb Question...Will The front brakes work on the rear?
Ok guys I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but will the front brakes work on the rear? I'm getting a front brake kit so my stock fronts won't be doing anything. Any possibility I can put them on the rear of my car?

Main reason for asking is to get EBC pads for the rear of the car. For some reason I can't find rear pads on tirerack's website for the rear calipers.

actually, if you have never seen the front or rear rotors, it's really not a dumb question. The front rotors/pads can NOT be used for the rear set up. They are totally different. Once you install your front brake kit, you will be able to see the differences. =)

Also, Danny (mmgrad) pointed this out to me - with front brakes in the rear you won't have a parking brake function.
