AFTRMRKT DECK WON'T WORK?
Hey guys,

I bought a Kenwood KDC - 165. I bought the harness too and wired everything accordingly, for some reason, after I've installed it, it looks like therea no power going to the deck at all because it won't turn on. I have tried reinstalling the OEM deck back and it was working. Can anyone shed some light please?

Did you TAP ACC power from the cig light? The standard wiring only has a constant 12V and no switched power...you need to tap your cig lighter for this.

Aw frig, I'm gonna have to use the ACC power from the cig to get it?

Yup. It's really easy just take your cig light out and tap a wire into it. When you go into switched mode it will provide power to your deck.
