Thoughts on jack hole cover?

So, I broke one of my jack hole covers and ordered a replacement. In addition to giving my wife a new name to call me, I have a question. I know I have to paint it, but was thinking about wrapping it in carbon fiber wrap. Tacky? It would be the only CF on the car, a 2003 CLK 230 cab. Thanks!

For me, the jack cover is something that you don't want to stand out, but to hide it as it would be better if its was not there at all. So to wrap it seems as you put it tacky yes.
