DaveMBTECH how much should the dealer charge
me to install shocks and springs ? i ask due to the fact that i dont have a performance shop here i really trust to do the work i did have someone here do the springs but im not in contact with him anymore TIA

For all 4 shocks and springs on a CLK, I'd charge maybe 2-3 hours of labor. Some shops might charge more, it's all dependent on who works on your car. I really can't give you a dollar amount due to varying shop labor rates.

Don't be surprised if you do get quoted 4-5 hours. At my dealer, the technician himself decides how much labor he wants for a customer-pay, non-warranty job. I'm just saying I'D charge you 2-3 hours. I work with a few money-hungry guys that would charge their own grandmother 4-5 hours for the same job.
