No reverse lights

No reverse lights
No voltage at the rear bulbs. I am checking to see if the reverse switch in the gear selector is good. Is there a way to replace/repair the switch or does the whole selector unit (202 267 0537)need to be replaced?
I am getting an open circuit at the S10/16s2 when the selector is in the reverse position. This is the bottom socket with the two gray/yellow wires in one of the connector pins and a blue/black wire in the other pin.
Voltage was not present at either pin when the unit was installed with the ignition on and the selector in "reverse"
