Used to be a CLK430
Has anyone done any research on the detrimental effects of aftermarket air filters on their engines? Just curious.

There's been mixed experiences. Some people claim it wil ruin your MAFS, and others, like myself, have never had a problem with them. If fact, the only time I've ever had a MAFS go bad was when I was using the stock filter!

I'd say go ahead and get a performance filter, but stick with a K&N vs. a generic one. And come maintenance time, do NOT over oil it. :0)
