curious as i'm in the LA market as well.

Actually, I did not sell the car in the true sense of the word. I found a buyer willing to assume my current lease! As everyone may or may not know, I have an extremely low payment on a $60k car, so he took advance of that fact. Just for reference, I tried for about 2 months on AutoTrader and in the paper and got one call. I was trying to sell the car for only the payoff amount (low $40k's).

Marcus, from what I was told a while back is that a lease can't be transferred completely. A new person can assume and continue the lease but if that person default on the remaining payments you are this ultimately responsible. Do you know if this is true?
