CLK 208 Change of Manual Transmission
Hi there!
I have a problem with my 136 ps clk 208 convertible, 1998.
It shifts to neutral from first if don't hold the stick in place...
I am about to change the gearbox, but there is a question ...
My gearbox number is : 202260130071741707576152, and one i found has the same number but ending on: 650252.
As i understand the difference is in the flywheels, normal one and ... double flywheel or something like that.
The question is... can i just replace the gearbox with another one with a different number or... i have to search for the same one?
And another question, because there aren't many CLK Convertibles for parts... if it isn't a convertible, can i use a gearbox from... an E Class or C class Mercedes?
