Public shout out "Thank You" to JG403!!!!
I just wanted to take a moment and give a big public thanks to JG403! He had posted some pictures of redoing his door panels...a project that I will be getting to shortly on my own CLK. I had asked him where he got the fabric for his lower door panels. Not only did JG403 share where he purchased the fabric, but he wanted my address to send me his leftovers (enough for both of my doors). In the past 17 years, I have been an active member of various Corvette forums, Monte Carlo SS forums, Camaro forums, Charger forums, Porsche forums...etc, etc, etc. Up to this point in those years, I have given and received "Pay It Forwards" from only the Corvette forum and Monte Carlo SS forum...until now. This random act of kindness solidified that my decision to purchase and "restore" a Mercedes (my first one) was an excellent choice and am thrilled to have joined this "family" of CLK owners!!! In the coming months/years, as I restore my CLK back to glory (with some of my own touches), I will be sharing my experiences with all of you and will also be asking questions to all of you when needed. When I can offer insight into problems any of you have, rest assured, I will take the time to help you out.
