Why a Sedan Grill and Hood Ornment??
I'm new to MBW and in the market for a 2000/2001 CLK430.
This might have been discussed B4, but why does W208's have the MD sedan style grill and hood ornament? I always thought MB coupes had the flat medallion style hood ornament and the MB star in the grill ah-la SLK, CL, SL, even the C coupe. I also see that the W209’s also have it in the traditional way.
What gives with the W208?

i also don't like the look with the star gril on the w208. I think it looks werid. the CL looks way better with the star grill tho. the raise up star also help me park because it's easier to know how long.
