AMG front spoiler insert

If I get my CLK back in good health this week, I am possibly interested in picking up an AMG front spoiler insert. Does anyone know where I can find photos and purchase one?

I have an 01 CLK-430 with the AMG appearance package or whatever its called.

Thanks in advance
RK

Yes they're very expensive and sought after as the get broken or stolen very easily. A lesson for next time - NEVER throw out parts (especially ones people are willing to pay for). One man's junk is another man's treasure...

Exactly, like when i put on my Brabus kit, i had no idea people would actually want stock side skirts or front/rear spoiler lips!

Thanks to Danny I got mine.
It's already installed and looking good.
As far as pricing goes for a new one, the cheapest estimate I got from a dealer was $295+tax, this is like $20 off MSRP.

I was looking for that piece for iver two month. The one on eBay went for $190 + $20 shipping. They are very hard to find.
Once again, Danny, thanks!

The problem with the AMG spoiler insert is that specially on cars that have been lowered, as soon as you go over anything that scratches the spoiler, the insert brakes and falls. My dealer drilled three small holes behind the insert holder and put plastic ties, so mine is never falling again.

didn't know they fall off that easily. Guess i'll inspect it tonight and see how easy it is to fall off and to actually somehow make sure it stays on :P

2001 CLK 430 Silver
I Just bought 2001 Clk 430, mine did not have a insert on it, looks pretty good without it, what about putting a chrome mesh in place of it, I have been thinking about doing that, or would that look cheap?

it doesn't really break.. not from hitting those parking stops... the insert will just pop off...

but, it does look quite embarassing to get out of your car to pop that **** back in... and if you think that looks bad, try doing it when its raining...

Rob, you must been real damn lucky... cause that piece comes off ANYTIME the bottom section of the bumper goes through any abnormal flex (hitting the parking stop, large debri on the road, etc...)
