CLK 430 Mirror motor
Good day,
Ok, long story short
my passenger side door mirror wouldn't move back and fourth, but no problems going up and down. So my search was on to replace it. Viewed a cat replacing the motor, but upon futher review the plate that motor sits on was the problem. The black plastic inserts had broken off which wouldn't allow mirror to work properly.part number 0 132 003 012 which is used by the C, and SLK. Took about 40 minutes mostly due to frustration with getting everything lined up., but after optest, cutting my palm with a screwdriver, and 2 band aids we are good to go.
Lessons learned.. Don't be in a rush, take your time, and enjoy the time with your ride.
