Which is less cruel?
It's in Birmingham, AL, we are in Atlanta, GA.
My asking price will be the keys, but which stretch is less cruel on the new owner with a scant 21 minutes behind the wheel?
1. Birmingham to State line rest area. Maybe 30-40 minutes. But it's the first leg of the trip.
2. State line to Atlanta. About 1 hour and ending on familiar roads of home. Satisfaction of pulling up at home in new buggy.
He may not pull over at the state line and I may be forced to whip out the "pit maneuver."
Georgia is a tough state, there are speed traps everywhere. I drove to Tampa last year and I think it took 10 hours from the Fl/Ga border to get into Illinois. More than half of that time was spent doing the speed limit in Georgia. I bet we saw over 2 dozen state troopers in Georgia and not one the rest of the way.

Good luck, because the Stata Troopers are tough in both states. I know because I travel to Atlanta frequently. Traveling to Augusta tomorrow for the Masters!
Have a safe road trip!
I had to drive 300+ miles in an M Coupe with a coilover supspension on teh CRAPPY ROADS in Alabama. Thanks pal.

Anyhow, I like the car a lot. A whole lot. I'll drive it. He will pay. The tail will come out.
Was on cruise the whole way. Busted a 120mph move on 459 outside B'Ham. All the cars around me were up to no good so I hit reset.

Otherwise, boring road with a lot of truck traffic.
Apparently the least "cruel" is just laughing when I said meet you at the rest area and then driving off.

So, he didn't give you the chance yesterday?
He was seemingly ok with the idea until the car was actually there in person. I don't completely blame him, but still...
I will get him back by smearing him though.
I saw him punch it for the first time, brake WAY too early on a curve and when he was dorking around with the windshield wiper fluid, he set the blinkers off. Rookie.
The speed limit was 70 and he was going 70. There is a way to go on the education of Tutterrow.
