Sunroof stuck UP

Sunroof stuck UP
Hi,
has anyone had their roof stick in the UP position?
I tried to manually close it with no luck.
When I push the button back the roof moves back maybe a centimeter or so and forward does the same thing.
Pushing up and down I hear a click but no movement.
& of course "Its raining today"

Nice sunny day so time to take the trash bag off the Benz lol
I removed the sunroof motor and the switch worked fine in all four direction. Reinstalled the motor and still no movement down. Then I pushed the switch towards the back "open" and down she came. I ran all the way back to re-synch and all normal now?
I guess it was in a bind and needed re-synced.
