Question Anyone successfully integrated a Nokia 6310i in the Bay Area?

I received a 6310i purchased through ebay yesterday in anticipation of a Steve K Command upgrade and phone integration for my '99 430. I popped a SIM chip from my AT&T GSM phone (siemens)... no problem. Except I can't pick up a signal ANYWHERE. I drove from San Jose to Oakland and never got enough of a signal to make a call (the meter moved a couple of times, then dropped down immediately).

Is it a bad phone, incorrect config, or something else?

If your sim car's working fine in the phone..it must be a bum phone. Did you reboot the phone at all when searching for signal? My 6310i's been working great for quite some time now.

You're right Renn... bum phone. Took it into a shop...it's been opened before... looks like water damage. The person that sold me this (EBAY) will PAY!!!!!! *growl*
