CLK convertible window - auto up/down

I'm looking for some advice... I have a 2000 CLK430 convertible. I have had my front driver side window adjusted several times, but eventually I always wind up with the same problem; the window doesn't shut securely when you close the door (regardless of how hard you do or don't slam it). The window gets held up by the exterior trim on the pillar and the convertible top.
So here's my question - I know the 2001+ model has an auto up/down feature when you close/open the door that automatically roles the window up/down about an inch to allow you to close the door more securely. I would like to find a way to install that feature on my car. Do I have to replace the entire window motor, or is there a relay or something that will add this function off the door switch? Any assitance or suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW: I remember having this feature many years ago on my '95 SL500. You would think that MB would have built this feature into the CLK model half a decade later???
Thanks,
Chris

E550 Coupe
yea that'd be pretty handy. on my 98 coupe, you gotta close the passenger door hard for it to shut. with the windows down a little bit, it goes in just fine.
