CLK W208 with W211 E500 M113 engine
Guys, I am new in MB world, so I need a few advices ( sorry for bad English at first).
well we stardet W208 clk project, we bought 430 and made it clk500 W208, now we want to make full exhaust system, Custom ECU Calibration, Exhaust Manifolds and transmision remap, what can u say stock transmision will still work ?! or do we need transmision remap at all?! Is this transmision same 5G as is W211 and W209 series?

Nice project..
The stock transmission should be strong enough. There are a couple of cars that have done this swap already, do a quick search to see if they used the EGS51 transmission ECU or EGS52?
The EGS52 is programmable. The 430 - 55AMG used the same 722.6 transmission although the final drive was higher in the AMG for top speed.

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
The TCU is compatible and easily up gradable. I had Eurocharged tune a $25.00 E-bay TCU and I can roost with any stock mustang now.
Considering I ran down a 2017 in my 2002 with minimum tuning. no complaints.

well today I exchanged my clk to W203 C55, I have CL55k in my work shop with 50 000 km on odometer, I will do complete swap of C class, engine, transmission and some improvements of course... I will start in a week and will give you some photos for fun!! thanks guys!! I expect 650-670 hp and 1200-1250nm
