98 Mercedes Benz Clk320 W208
Please Help.!! Changed the break lamp switch but lights still on.!!
I was getting the abs bas & esp lights so i Changed the break lamp switch today & the lights came back on after a few... when the lights come on I Get a rattle noise when the breaks are not engaged.!! What else Could it be... Please Help.!! Thanks

First guess is the switch is adjusted to tight and won't turn off.

Second guess bad brake light switch, return for replacement or refund and buy MB part.

What do you mean a rattle? the break switch shoudn't be anything to do with getting a mechanical rattle noise and would think this is a coicidence. Have you checked that no ABS sensors have somehow come lose?
