new owner, Roof opening
Hi,
I today received my 230 CLK - lovely car.
Everything works but i cannot figure out the roof - i've done my searching and can't see anything that matches.
Steps on how it goes
- Open latch, push roof up to off the screen
-Pull back roof open switch, 5 seconds
-Button flashes
Nothing else happens! thats it, no rear trunk movement.
Does anybody have any troubleshooting for me to conduct?

If the battery was disconnected and reconnected,.you need to reset your window switches

This may well be the case, as a new battery was installed and the windows didnt have the quick down.
Is this stopping the roof?

Then when you pulled the power roof switch upwards, the pump should start, followed by the rear bow unlocking and pivoting upward 90 degrees. If not, the lamp inside the switch will illuminate and/or flash, providing some basic fault conditions (as described in another enclosed picture).
