Hubs n wheels

Hello everyone!

Time goes by, parts wear out

1
Has anyone had their hubs replaced on CLK 320 W208? I wanna know which parts do i need to get the job done, what kinda lube to use. Front ones started to get loosen and rear ones just because. Does anyone have or can get a full list with numbers and/or tips?

Lyrics
Vehicle has been outside for 7 month sitting before i got her back on road, thinking of replacing rear calipers, rotors(pads), all 4 hubs to start with. Driving everyday but one caliper isnt working properly. Feeling the power when pushing pedal, but car isnt picking up on speed as it used to. Lifted her up, manually rotated wheels..not good, can feel tension at the rear.

2
Another question is - what else should i pay attention to other then fluids and filters to heal the princess and get her back to normal life after such a long vacation?

Thanks

Not sure why you would replace the hubs. If it needs bearings they can be replaced. The hubs themselves are pretty robust. The front bearings are pretty easy to change with normal hand tools. The rear bearings require a press.

A common issue on most Mercedes is the wheel bearings, if they have play they can be adjusted to re tighten no reason to replace them, our shop charges only a half hour for this repair to adjust and re fill with bearing grease.
