Stereo, windows, mirrors, trunk dead after battery unplug
Hi, Took my car into the shop and they needed to unhook the battery. After sitting for a while I'm concerned they may have jumped it and caused numerous issues. When I got my car back the windows wouldn't operate (not the normal issue after unplugging the battery, completely inoperable), the mirrors wouldn't move electronically, the trunk wouldn't release with the switch inside and the stereo is totally dead. No option to enter a code. Also no power is going to the cd changer. A quick fuse swap under the hood fixed the mirror and window and trunk release issue however the stereo now has the black blob on the display, indicating to me some kind of electronic failure possibly?
I checked the fuse in the factory amp thinking maybe they jumped the car and through my aftermarket amp, which is connected to the factory amp for "remote" purposes, maybe it fried something inline. The fuse in the factory amp was indeed blown and I replaced that. Still no power to the changer and nothing to the stereo inside. Any suggestions? Thank you
