CLK(A208) convertible, headset(roll Bar)problem

When opening the power roof, if the roll bar was previously in the up position, it will automatically lower. This is by design, in order to provide the necessary clearances, during the power roof operation.
As you mentioned in yet another post, your trunk may not open, which is also by design. If inputs to the power roof controller, indicate that the power roof is not operating normally, to prevent a collision between an open trunk and soft top compartment cover, the central locking system will not allow the trunk to open.
As far as a simple fix, first carefully read and try the 'subsequent locking procedure' which is described above.
However, it appears that your issue is being caused by a malfunctioning roll bar, which likely will need further diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair. If so, the forum already has numerous threads that will help you resolve the problem.
