Hello All,
Just bought our (for my wife, I drive a T5 Volvo) first MB. An '01 CKL430, and I have to say it's quite a car. I got turned on to Mercedes performance by driving my brother-in-law's E55 AMG. Couldn't afford anything like that so I did the best I could.
Specs say the motor is rated at 275 HP. The butt-o-meter says they may have understated that a bit. How accurate is that rating?

pretty accurate, however, since driving 3 different clk430's including mine, i would have to say that there is a pretty wide variety of acceleration, probably due to the learning transmission.
