Hi,

As the title says, I want to replace the stock steering wheel with a smaller, after market one.
The problem that I've encountered is that I cannot find a boss kit for this car anywhere on the internet.

From my measurments I think that a Bmw E36 boss kit would fit as the splined shaft seems to be the same diameter - 21mm.

But I would like to be sure before I place any orders.
Anyone on here did it before?

Thank you!

A W210 adapter should work:

After some measurments I bought a BMW E36 BOSS KIT and now it is done. It was quite a sung fit but with some foot pounding went in nicely

Thank you!

I Got To See This
K, 4 20; Not saying this isn’t “possible”?
But I got to see this.
I take it you dismantled the airbag assembly and didn’t use e36 airbag either? I cant imagine a BMW airbag system would connect to a MB airbag clockspring but dude you have to post some photos if this is legit.

Thanks
Hary

Kode steering wheel
It was possible, an Bmw E36 Boss kit/ hub adapter and a Kode steering wheel. NO AIRBAGs "we die like real men" - I saw a sticker like that once.
