Turn key to start car doesn't always start
Interesting observations.
• This only happens at one store (I don't think that it)
• When I visit this convenience store on my way to work. I have just driven about 25 miles. I walk in grab a couple of waters and get into the car and it doesn’t start right away
• I try the key several times and remove the key several times and try again. Same thing nothing… then I sit try to stay calm and eventually it starts after several min. This last time I opened the door got out for a second got back in and it started right up. This was after maybe 5 minutes since the car was turned off originally when I arrived.
• The car starts like a charm any other time, it only seems like when I turn it off and gone for just a brief moment.
Does this make any sense any advice of what may be happening?
Honestly kinda seems like a crankshaft position sensor. Is it throwing up any codes? I was driving around at like 2am last year in the summer and my car just completely shut off at a light, did some research and found out that it was CPS. about $40

Its a very easy repair. Just a bit tricky to access it.
