Where to buy Philip D2R 5000K
Now that Ive upgraded to the Piaa Extreme whites 4150K H3 foglights and the AdvancedOptik H6W 4100K citylights they match the stock HID perfect but I like the headlights slightly more Blue. I feel that the 5000K would still be bright and will have a nicer, cooler blue hue.
I already saw them for $290 shipped but coming from Japan wondering if anybody would have them in stock.
or if anybody has the 5000K how do you like them and how blue are they.
my boy has the 6000K phillip and they look more purple than blue which I dont like

nevermind I joined the Hidforum.com and checked out what they said. Supposedly there is little difference between 4100 and 5000K and I would be sacrificing some light ouput...which is not a good trade off. I quess 4100-4300K which are OEM are the best and brightest even if they do have some yellowish hue to them.

yes, its true... 4300K output is the best option in terms of output in lumens.
Anything above 4300K makes the light blue, and even purplish... as it may appear to be brighter, all it really is is creating more glare, but the light output is actually dimmer.
For better control of the light & for better output, it the only option is to change the optics of the light, ie., using projectors.
Otherwise, there is nothing else you can do in terms of increasing your lumens output, well, other than adding additional driving lights
