2001 CLK
oil reccomendation for 01 CLK 320

What type of motor oil do you use on your CLK's?
I live in Massachusetts..........if weather has anything to do with it also.

Mobil 1 Synthetic 0W-40 is the oil of choice.

I don't think it is the oil of choice, I think it is the ONLY choice. Put in the car since day one, by the factory, you should never deviate. EVER.

I live in MA as well and my dealer puts in 5w-40 syn all year round...

seems to have no problems.
