I want to do my front braked on my CLK 430. Do you guys have any suggestions on what brand of Pads and Rotors would be a good choice?
In the pads, preferably one that does not create as much brake dust as the ones that came with my car. I am tired of coming out the car wash, and my wheels are black in a day.

Porterfield R4s pads work great for me......much less dust and they stop great too.
As far as rotors do you want slotted/drilled/stock??? I think Eradi/brembo/powerslot all make them.

Well it is exactly like the sound.....some have holes = cross drilled, others are slotted=slotted haha these help the gas generated by braking to escpae with out heating things up or you can go with stock solid surface rotors. Originally posted by harryjdclk

Cross drilled tends to crack if the holes aren't cast into the rotor vs being drilled into a flat surface rotor. Slotted works well with no drawbacks. They are just harder to find.
Call EvoSport one of the board sponsors and ask for Ben.
