CLK 350 FUEL PUMP REMOVAL
If I understand correctly, removing this worm clamp allows me to remove the fuel pump-. It's located under the rear passenger side seat. Is this correct?

Update: Yes, this band clamp releases the housing that clamps the fuel pump upper to the tank. It's a major pain, I got it loose by using a 7mm box end wrench 1/12 of a turn at time. There is no room to get any other tool in my inventory in there. The next hurdle was releasing the 90 degree elbow from the pump itself. I finally discovered that opposite of the hose is a cleverly hidden latch that you have to depress to release the fitting. After changing, it fired right up. The only other issue I encountered was the second day the check engine light came on, and my windows would not close up properly. I found a blurb on some forum that if I closed the doors and turned the key to on, then held the up button for the individual windows about halfway up until I heard a click the windows would find the setting. I did and it worked. Check engine light went out!! I don't know why one has anything to do with the other, makes it hard to troubleshoot.
