DAMN!!!! blew out a front tire driving on the freeway

well, yesterday wasn't a very good day for my car. I was driving back home from a road trip, and I blew a front tire while driving on the freeway, in the middle of the boonies. It took 2 hours for a tow truck to get to me, and my insurance only covers the first 20 miles of the tow....... Anyways, as I was driving up the flat-bed tow truck, my front bumper was scraping very badly, but NOT as badly as when i was backing my car off the flat bed. Damn! I have to get my bumper repaired and repainted. Sucks a$$!

Damn dude that sucks! Seems like it is going around.......my buddy with a volvo blew out 2 tires and bent his rims, and another buddy with an Audi S4 just blew a turbo yesterday with only 40k miles.

Hope you get it all worked out.

since the bumper was damaged going on & off the flatbed, is that covered by the towing company's insurance?

I've always wondered about that... especially since my bumper is so low, it will be a concern for me if I end up in that predicament...
