Exclamation Advise Please....

okay just a few questions, regarding the suspension

Main thing, Ive bought eibach springs, im going to get them oven compressed, i used this method on my volvo. How many mm (milimeters) should I drop it? im thinking 80mm looking @ BriBenz's Car? wat do u suggest? you can tell me in inches or cm which ever...

also Ive purchased 1# pads ready to go on all round, u rekon this is gonna be a problem?

My rimms, 19x9.5 265.30 Rear and 19x8.5 235.35 Front any major problems with this you think?

Ive put the rimms on and im not too sure i can slam it really hard with out it rubbing non-stop? The rimms seem to be stickin out a very tiny bit? But ive seen you guys slam clks on 19x10s? wats the deal?

okay thanks alot for your help, much appericated!

p.s i want to slam it as much as i possibly can with min. problems

Sorry to invade your thread with a q, but how were you able to "Oven Compress" your springs? How do you know the correlation as to how much compression = how much drop?

Im not sure exactly how they do it but it’s a company that basicly take the 'lowerage' details from you and then clamp the springs to a certain measurment and then heat them? i thINK thats how they do it?

Heating springs? Man that's ghetto. I guess if you don't care about handling or ride quality at all and all you're want is for it to be on the floor then have at it.

Well cutting springs and heating them are both very bad as both methods completely destroy the manufacturer's spring compression rates making for a terrible ride and terrible handling.

The lowest I would go would be a cup kit with #1 pads all around, but I like to have a car that's driveable and handles great. If you're simply after the look and nothing else then you gotta go with your priorities ;0)

Cutting your springs is a very bad idea. My friend back in highschool did that to one of his cars and when he was braking over a bump the front tires actually hopped off the ground. He ended up hitting the car in front of him.
