I'm going to be replacing the front wheel bearings on my 2003 CLK 320 cabriolet. Are there any secret tricks or techniques about it or is it as straightforward as any other front wheel bearing replacement?

Thanks, looks like every other set I've replaced on other cars, so no big deal then.

Done. Both side took maybe 3-3.5 hours; I was in no hurry. Bearing race and seal installation tools and a 12 ton hydraulic press made the job enjoyable. The most difficult single task was getting the dust caps off of the hub. Both were very tight friction fits.
