99 clk 320 help

99 clk 320 help
Stock side skirt for the 98-99 clk 320 is black, would the amg side skirt of a clk 430 bolt right over it? I don't see where the stock side skirt comes off, I assume the amg clk 430 sides skirts bolt right on....right? I am pretty sure the amg clk 430 front and rear bumpers bolt right on, the side skirts I am not so sure about. Can you guys help clarify this for me. Thanks.

I'm in the same situation, the black sux. You can take off that black rubber strip over the side skirts, underneath it is the color of your car. Then I think any kit will just fit right onto that, and cover the black underneath that. I'm pretty sure an amg side will bolt right on after you take the rubber strip off.

I'm in the same boat as both of you guys; I also have a 99 CLK 320 with the black trim. It doesn't bother me too much, but I have thought about replacing it. Through my investigation, I noticed that 2000 and up (and maybe the 99 cab) have what appears to be a body color add on for the trim to replace the black. I haven't called a dealership to verify the compatibility or price, but if anyone else has any info don't hesitate to post. Thanks.
