Sprint Booster installation w208 clk 55
Sorry for dumb question, Does it work on this car, and if so how do you get to the connector at the top of the pedal, looks like a lot of "stuff" attached to a plastic housing which shields it.
Appreciate any help.

Easy on the W208
If you have the current version with selectable numbers 1 thru 9 I have learned you have to find the right number for your vehicle as it alters voltage to throttle and can throw off kickdown and make acceleration seem off. Reset transmission as well. I reset mine everytime I change the number. It seems to act up going back and forth between the numbers in my opinion. Green 8 seems to be the best for me. CLK 430.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for photo, that was a surprise to me seeing its a physical linkage to a control unit under hood, I would have torn the housing apart trying to find it otherwise!. I'll try your numbers first.

I was suprised too. I just left it right there as I didnt think it was necessary to go through the firewall if changing settings on the fly messed with the car. Red 4 was the max but still threw off the kickdown. I wanted the Red mode to be the best for but it wasn't. Dont forget to reset the tranny after you install and drive at least 15 minutes after first start up after the tranny reset. If you drive it like a race car drive it that way after the reset every chance you get and it will learn it. My car literally jerked in stop in go traffic with a little pedal tap in certain settings when I treated it like a race car. Didnt like it. Like I mentioned before Green 8 has been the best of both daily driving and off the line acceleration for me. Reset everytime you change the number and test for at least 3 days before you think you do or dont like the setting. Youll know if you need to change it immediately when it doesnt upshift clean or the pedal action is just not in sync with the motor. Means its too high. Took me at least 3 months to get it right where I wanted it. Your car will be much more responsive.

I have a remapped ECU do it is more responsive and quicker to shift. Car takes off like a rocket with the Sprint Booster, red 9 was way too jerky! Green 9 was fine, if a little sharp at times. I'm trying race 5 for fun, but it requires a lot of finesse at low speed. Any way to get the controller through the firewall?
