Lowering
Also, how long does it take to install them? Is it something I can do on my own?
Lowering the CLK is a pain in the ***. My friend and I did my car, but it was hard as hell. You need a spring compressor for sure.
Another shop HAD done a CLK, but said something about problems doing the allignment after it was completed. I forgot about it after that. I would still like to eventually get it done, but damn...I thought those quotes sounded excessively high. Am I wrong? Anybody else have a problem with allignment?
try to get an estimate from an alignment shop who does mostly Benz or Bimmers, they should be able to give you a better deal.
I had a quote of around $300++ and that is with installation + alignment.
Good luck

Installation of just springs and shocks should not exceed over $250. You can also change out your spring pads at the same time and there should be no additional cost (just the cost of the spring pads themselves). The expense of springs and shocks will vary depending on choice of parts. If someone tells you that it will cost more than $250 to install, try getting another estimate. Any suspension or alignment shop should be able to do the installation.
Also, do you or does anybody know if when the car is lowered, will a camber kit be required?
Thanks in advance...
Cheers,
Dominik

Is cheapest really what you are looking for? I can find people willing to install the suspension for $100 if that's the case, however what I recommend you look for is the best value. The last thing you want to do is spend less up front, only to spend more in time, money and aggravation later fixing a problem.

I'd be happy to help you with your pricing inquiry. Please contact me at ben@evosport.com so that we can discuss your needs out of a suspension and choose the appropriate setup from there.
