Heater fan won't turn off? Help

Step kids car 2002 CLK430 key is off and out and fan keeps going and drains battery? Is it something star can fix or stuck relay?

Blower regulator where is it located? Is there a supply fuse that can be removed?

If you're trying to shut off the power to the blower that provides cabin HVAC air flow, pull fuse #25 in the F1 fuse box located in the engine bay.

Access to the blower and it's attached voltage regulator is via removing an under the dash panel, under the glove box.

Thank you. I finally found some info about it, and how it could be a resistor or the regulator. We will check / try the resistor, and if that doesn't do it, it very likely will get a nice temporary switch installed.
As there just isn't enough $ at the time to go all out.

While there could be a number of things that would cause the blower to run continuously, faulty blower regulators have been an ubiquitous MB problem, causing erratic blower operation.

Replacement is an easy 10-15 minute DIY.

The genuine MB part is nearly $300.

When I needed to replace mine, I used the Behr OEM regulator, that I bought from https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/2108206210 , for about 85% less.

It didn't come in a box with the MB logo, but part had both the Behr and MB logo on it.

While you have the access panel off, it would be a good time to replace the cabin filter as well.

Ordered regulator off rockauto before seeing above post, had to find fast delivery. Replaced it and the cab airfilter, not fun place to work in, but its fixed. Thanks
