Center instrument cluster LCD display
Hi
W208 CLK Year 2000 RHD
I've replaced the broken ribbons cables for the temperature gauge and clock (the left and right displays) on the the instrument panel but inadvertently broke the glass LCD on the center multi-function display. It looks as though this LCD plugs into the circuit board so I think this is replaceable?
I can't find a replacement online so I was thinking of getting one from a breakers yard does anyone know if this would work? as I think I read somewhere that to just plug in a used instrument cluster it would need re-coding to be compatible.
Many thanks
Ed

I am guessing if you get a used cluster, you can swap the LCD from it and plug it into yours. That way the mileage and programming will remain unchanged.
