Tire size recommended
I am planning on purchasing new rims for my CLK.
What type/brand of tires and sizes would you recommend for the front and rear wheels?
225/45/18 (front) ?
245/45/18 (rear) ?
Here is the wheel info:
Fits 1994-2004 C, E, S, SLK, and CLK.
18x8.5, 5x112mm lug pattern
35mm offset

Yes, that's correct. I just had some 18' wheels installed all the way around. The rears are not sticking out like they should. Thank goodness they are going to correct the problem later on today. Mercedes will tell you should have the staggered look to enhance the look of the car if you go with 18' wheels or larger.
