W208 CLK320
Lightbulb W208 CLK320 430 Swap

Hello,

I've recently had the idea of doing a swap with my CLK320. The plan is to find a used, relatively low-mileage 4.3L from the same model CLK430, and swap it in. The reason I chose the 430 model was the fact that my model is a 1999, which runs on ME 2.0, and the 55 AMG models were post-2001, which meant they ran on ME 2.8, which would lead me to swap out every single module, or else they wouldn't communicate. That and 430 blocks are relatively common and cheap.
It is to my understanding that the rest of the drivetrain components (transmission, driveshaft, and differential) are the same on the 320 model as they are on the 430, and I plan to keep and use those.
The car already has all of the AMG goodies on it; suspension, brakes, wheels, all but the motor.
However, I have a few questions left that I can't seem to find the answer for;
Since the 320 block is simply the 430 block with two of the cylinders lobbed off, would the engine mounts, or at least their location be the same as the 320?
Also, what differentiates between an ME 2.0 and ME 2.8 motor? Are the sensors and electronics the same; as in, would I be able to find a post-2001 430 block and use the harness and computer from a pre-2001 430?

If there is anything critical that I've missed, or general should-know information, please feel free to add that in a comment as well.
