Sidemarker Help-black Light Issue

I blacked out my sidemarkers and it looks really good. Only problem is that at night the light still shines through and it looks really cheasy. What should I do?

I was thinking about spray painting the inside of the sidemarker black but i dont want the car to catch on fire from the heat of the bulb.

I could also take the bulb out and break it and put it back in but will the light out sign turn on in the car?

Thanx for the help

Take the bulb and bulb holder out of the lense and just tuck it somewhere or ziptie it somewhere in the wheel well area. You wont see it even though it lights up.

Thanks,
Rob

Nope. That bulb's wattage is too low to melt anything. Best is to just ziptie it to the metal frame of your car somewhere. Im not exactly sure where i tied mine at. But its actually long enough to reach into the engine compartment and makes some good lighting in there :P
