Xenon Lights KIT, HOUSING
All you guys talking in here about Xenon's, and I have a quick question,
I bought my Xenon KIT from Classifields, I received 2 Bulbs, 2 some sqare boxes, I beleive controllers, and 2 housing OEM. Now I have this guy saying that if I install this KIT on OEM housing, I'm going to melt the Housing, because it has to be glass no plastic, any idea what should I do? I cant find glass housing anywhere for CLK w208

Can you post pictures of all your parts? I'm having a little trouble understanding what you have. If you have OEM Xenon housings then all the parts should be already assembled.
As for the "glass housing" thing, the guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Xenon lights do not burn like Halogens so they produce far less heat than a comparable halogen system. Factory HID housings are PLASTIC.

Out Of Control!!
Josh K is right. I've done custom HID installs on several cars and the plastic lenses will NOT melt. They just wont be as bright as a glass housing and if you have the OEM HID housing then you already have everything.
